I don't think your characterization is fair. It isn't whether this is a truth that people can or can't handle. It's whether the public airing of this information is detrimental to larger criminal investigations that are underway. All of this information should be public, as should information...

Keep this perspective in mind. Whether it's in the next year, or four years, or later, there's plenty more that hasn't seen the light. Rob Ford isn't at the centre of what's to come, he's just currently the most public figure involved.
