The object of the game, according to the kids? Chase Rob Ford “because he’s drinking crack,” a parent told Doucette.

"The tides are changing. Residents are now upset because this is what our children are seeing," Doucette told CP24 reporter Katie Simpson.

Hah thanks! I agree it's amazing how many people in hindsight are all like "WE DIDN'T KNOW!!" when all there was for MONTHS was stories about how unfit Ford was. No one to blame but themselves.

Anyway guess she liked it too because she retweeted it.

A tweet from Bette Midler: Not feeling that funny but did note crack-smoking Mayor of Toronto stripped of SOME of his powers today! That cheered me up no end.

Seriously. It's one of the reasons I didn't vote for him. I knew about his revolting behaviour. People need to take responsibility and research their candidates.

Totally agree. I've enjoyed some "told you so" moments because I did tell them so during the election campaign but people passed his behaviour off as one-offs (despite the fact that there was already a pattern there). Too many people fall for soundbites and/or don't read past a headline.
 
Doug is on CP24, he thinks because they sold out the bobble heads, it's all good. Not even Harper could have sold that many bobble heads. WOW. His ego is something.

It's been a long day at City Hall. I could use a drink...

I was ushering Nikki Thomas of SaveToronto through City Hall bureaucracy to get the 1,200 signatures from Wednesday's rally to the floor of council. At the beginning of today's special meeting, Michael Thompson presented the petition to "ooohs and ahhhhs" from other councillors and the gallery. It's now a part of the public record.
