TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

Has 4422 gone into service yet?

What's the latest progress on deliveries from Snake Oil Co.? I'm almost disgusted asking, because I expect "more of the same", which means they are behind schedule of their latest "commitment".

There is even a CLRV on 510 right now. That's a disgrace.
 
Thunder Bay, we have a problem with 4422.

4422 is now T minus 600k, 17 day after delivery and 15 days at the Barns.

4422 has been in the repair section all weekend and that could because of the long weekend and no staff on hand.

An hour ago, it started to circle the yard and has been stop in the middle of the north far track since then.

Friday night tracker had 4422 over at Tims.

Watching the tracker from time to time today, The car is making a trip around the yard and back into the repair section. As I type this, its in the repair area.

Once this problems is fix, has to do the 600k testing again and we would be lucky to see this car in service by July 15 at this time.

This is the longest time frame so far for a car not being in service after delivery since 4403+ started to arrive.

4422 was actually signed onto the 501 (on nextbus) for a few hours last Thursday. Something must have gone wrong near the 600km mark.

Just check the tracker and its out at 401 and Mavis Rd as I type this.

I was following it most of last week to see if it made service before July 1 and that when problems show up around Thursday.

It did a run on Thursday on 501 as far as Roncesvalle Yard and stay there for some hours. Then went east on Dundas to the yard. Friday saw it doing runs from the yard to Boardview and back was well going into the service bay after various trips. Rest of Friday and all weekend in repair bay. Today, it did a few loops of the yard at different times for one trip and back into the repair bay.
 
4422 has been sitting on the far north track at the east end for the last hour

4406, 4409, 4414, 4415, 4419 inside

4412, 4405, 4404, 4403 In the yard

4413 in Burlington

4418 heading to the Barns

Rest in service with nothing on 514

You can get the current co-ordinates of any vehicle with NextBus

It's been good anytime I've checked.

And no indication it's ever been in service.

4422 has done this before. Something is wrong with it's GPS.
 
The GPS on anything can puts them in the wrong location from time to time. Looked at a car that ended up outside of TO and a few minutes later it was on the correct route. I have GPS location on some of my photos to the point it was a mile off from the location I was shooting from or never found me while standing on the roof of the tallest building around me.

4422 is still in the same location in the yard where I last saw it and it has never made it to the service stage yet.

What every the problem is, will it effect 4423 due to be ship in the next week or so to the point we may see 4402 before it as well the next batch of cars to follow 4402??

Lets see what Wed bring for 4422 and the fleet.

Its currently saying its at Mavis & 401 which has change from being in Lake Ontario out by Humber Bay an hour ago. It was even showing up somewhere in York Region.

Couple of other cars were doing the samething and then show up on the routes today.
