I think it does revolve around the incident with the boyfriend. The story is based on "18 months of research", which more or less puts the starting point of the research at/just before the death threats and break-in. Given that he had cocaine and heroin on him at the time.... maybe it really wasn't crack cocaine in the glass pipe. It was probably heroin, which is totally smokable. And doesn't leave the tell-tale track marks of injecting...
EDIT:
Fixed that for you brah
So maybe Ford wasn't lying today after all...I spoke with a friend who knows about this stuff and he said from the description of the video it sounded more like Ford was smoking crystal meth not crack cocaine.
I am still rather surprised by the complete absence of opinion polls.

MetroMan please tell us what your inbox says because holy shit we're flipping out like a bunch of crack addicts needing our next score
I've noticed two polls -
Toronto Star (Does Mayor Rob Ford's statement put the issue behind him? - [scroll down a bit] - http://www.thestar.com/news/city_ha...mayors_council_allies_search_for_answers.html
Toronto Sun ("Do you believe Rob Ford?") - [scroll down a bit] - http://www.torontosun.com/
Very different answers between the two papers!
Sorry, keeping that one to myself lol See you'all tomorrow!!
Are you confusing it with Now, or perhaps the Trotskyist Weekly? The Star is small-l liberal, but hardly "ultra-left".Star is ultra left.

Lisa Moore's splendid new novel Caught, about Canadian drug dealers, looks like it's coming out at the right time.
