Her approach is notably innovative, focusing on inclusive community development that supports dynamic urban living spaces.

Mark J. Richardson • Chief Technology Officer, Rich Analytics

Mark J. Richardson brings over two decades of consulting experience with governmental clients, improving urban planning with data-driven insights. As a pivotal figure in the development of Toronto's Open Data Master Plan and a former member of the City's Planning Review Panel, Mark leads the HousingNowTO.com project, praised for its role in simplifying the affordable housing conversation through the use of digital tools like Google Maps and interactive data visualizations, offering greater transparency and encouraging community involvement. He is also a volunteer for the Urban Land Institute (ULI) with the Terwilliger Center for Housing in Washington, D.C.

Dan Van Leeuwen • Partner, GTA, Windmill Developments

Dan Van Leeuwen brings his extensive background in real estate across various sectors to projects centred on community benefits and sustainability. His portfolio includes significant projects with First Nations, focusing on economic reconciliation and community-focused development. Dan’s academic background in Geography and Urban Planning from the University of Waterloo complements his professional expertise in building resilient and sustainable urban environments. His experience also includes serving on multiple not-for-profit boards related to arts and culture, as well as teaching real estate professionals at post-secondary institutions such as the University of Calgary and Simon Fraser University.
