Have seen longer lines than this one at 4 pm on a Sunday with barriers up to keep people in line and away from the platform edge. Expect to see it again very shortly.

The only thing Union needs are expanded streetcar platforms/a secondary streetcar platform. Anything asides from that wont do anything to solve the long queue lines.
I still wonder if the redesigning of the TYSSE stations to remove the platform screen doors (but still have provision to add them later) costed more than it would have costed to have them installed in the first place as planned.Has the TTC spoken about platform screen doors at all recently, the TTC tics all the boxes for installing them. Or at least gates
They really shouldn't run the 510 on QQ during weekends and times where people prefer the 509. Instead increase service on the 509. The streetcar departed with tons of space. Could be a contributing factor as to why the lines get so long.
