If ever there was a time to break the glass and hit the panic button, this is it. In 2010, Toronto was a much more politically innocent and naïve place than it is now.

JT seems determined not to punch back. That may be seen as a sign of weakness by some voters.

Some voters may find the Ford "bad boys" persona more attractive than JT's "nice guy" image. "Nice guys finish last."

Thankfully, Ari is riding to the rescue like the 7th Cavalry. Hope it's not too late. This battle could be JT's Last Stand.

Can you post a copy of that? In a NP article today Silverstein is reported to say that the grandparents were Jewish: "Mr. Silverstein said he was unaware if Ms. Ford is “active in the Jewish community,†but said both her maternal grandparents were Jewish."

Matt Elliot posted the breakout of the Forum poll. There was a ridiculously low number of 18-34's polled v. 65+ (land line skew) And the 18-34's they called overwhelmingly favoured Ford. I just crunched the raw unweighted numbers... Tory 46% to Ford 33% 13 points.. not a statistical tie.

It was indeed a mixed area (still part of the Austro-Hungarian empire when Karla's aunt and uncle left for Canada) with a lot of variant spellings; the 'Arenowicz/Aronowicz' spelling suggests possibly Polish, which would be a surprise for Doug.

I sincerely hope that after forum's disgusting display of partisan and skewed voting, people stop hiring them. They're awful.
