    Rob Ford's Toronto

The "kids today" are hardly a problem. It's the adults today you have to look out for, especially when they still behave like kids.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Geez, take it down a lunch, Olivia. The invective is melting my computer screen. </sarcasm, of course>

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Yes, but the end goal could be to get Doug out of politics, while keeping Rob in it. Doug wouldn't win, but he might think he's saving a bit of face by not completely ducking out of the mayoral race.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

But eventually Raine said, "I can't live here anymore."

So wait, does Rob also have a hotmail doctor?

Jimmi T can't comment on a Kevin Donovan he has not seen or does not exist.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

If Doug manages to drag Ben Johnson out and make him confirm the rehab story, I might bow down to his sheer gall.

And then the iron chef will appear and tell people that he saw Rob in rehab somewhere. Proof delivered.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

If Rob starts talking about having a perky, Sandra Bullock-esque sidekick, we'll know for sure that he's borrowing his material from movies.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

This reminds me of the time when 2012 Republican presidential candidate Hermain Cain held a press conference to announce that the story that was about to appear in the evening news about him having an affair was not true. Confirmation by denial.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

It was bad enough when we were known as the city with the crack-smoking mayor. Now we're the city that misplaced the crack-smoking mayor.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

To paraphrase Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite, "There's a world of difference between what Doug sees, and what is."

    Rob Ford's Toronto

I continue to believe that we'll never see Rob again, at least in any meaningful context (e.g. campaigning for mayor). Doug wants the PC leadership and Rob has run out of do-overs.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

It has its moments and does some interesting stuff, but the overarching narrative with Brody and the rest takes a wrong turn off a steep cliff. The last few episodes are particularly bad, at least imo. Might be worth watching, as a fan, to see what you think of it.

MM is rapidly becoming like that third season of Homeland. You want it to be good because it was so great in the past, but deep down you know it should have packed things in and left on a high long ago.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

These sorts of predictions are predicated on the belief that Ford can actually curb his behaviour. You can't fake being a slimmer, sober, calm person. Unless Doug is devising some sort of zany scheme involving holograms.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

I still think that this is the last we've seen of Rob for a while...possibly forever. Okay, maybe the press will give him a day if he crawls back to town, but I think that's a big if. He's used up all his goodwill chips with the Ford clan and is only a liability at this point. "He's a grown...

My guess would be no. I think it's finally hit them that everything has been ruined. After nearly a year, these shenanigans seem to have finally caught up to them.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

That's a sound theory, and maybe this is all PR. But a plan like that hinges on Rob being able to sober up and control his behaviour. Rehab stint or no, I don't see that happening.
