I agree with you, "M" though did seem for a right fit for the "Metro" system universality as well as the Metrolinx corporation aspect. I would however want a better name than Metrolinx to begin with. Something more professional, like SORTA Southern Ontario Regional Transit Authority.

That's sorta why I kept the colour schemes of the transit agencies, knowing it'd cost a lot to recolour every bus, they can keep the colors but scrap the the names.

Inspired by the London Roundels: Made this last night to show more Metrolinx unity in the GTA.

For your consideration: I made it in the style I used for the Scarborough area LRT's I made a couple of pages back. Can be used as a banner map similar to those on the subways. Comments and critiques please.

For the Sheppard Line, Bridlewood, is more Finch and Warden-ish; I'm in the area and it's not something locals would agree with. Just sayin'. Other than that, good map.

I tried to implement the Sheppard LRT, but it looked too crowed and not aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I added the GO logo as a means of indicating nearby GO train connections. I also changed the font in favour of something more clearer and not so heavy. The cardinal direction was added...

LOL. :p Actually that's what I was going for when I made the map. From a sideways perspective, our system looks suspiciously like Chicago's. With the Scarborough RT looking like the Skokie Swift. Too bad ours doesn't go very far.

I'll try putting in the lake, and see how that fares. I might also experiment with putting in other bodies of water just for some more perspective. I know other maps usually do that too. The map is not really for accuracy but for visual clarity. The problem with Old Cummer being not in line...
