I like it.. just a tad bit sad though, as the building I currently work in will be demolished to make way for this project :(
 
Sweet! I like how it looks top heavy. The only thing about it's design I don't like is the white vertical rectangle near the bottom. That should go.

The height has been reduced by 6 floors and some other items have been changed (parking entrance is now off John instead of the alley in the rear and a green roof added to part of the podium). The proposed condo is now 31s (105.6m) with 295 units.

Does that mean they eliminated the top floor design element with white parallel horizontal lines; or more likely middle floors so it's a compressed version of the earlier proposal?
 
Apparently the architect behind this project is BRISBIN, BROOK, BEYNON (BBB Architects) ... a quick review of their website (http://www.bbb.ca/) reveals that they were also the architects behind One University and Metro Hall ... pretty neat

I guess we still don't know who the developer is though ...

I was expecting something like this. It does seem to be an automatic response in many cases.
 
Shortening? Only if they entomb it in EIFS will it look like a stick of lard
