The lobby height really is going to be impressive here. Compared with PWC next door, this one feels like it's nearly twice the height, and PWC's already feels rather spacious.

Is the steel extension in front of the Delta going to remain at that height? Are there any landscaping plans for the roof?

Normally, I would complain about the lack of retail. However, when the beauty of giant office podiums is brought into the equation, I'm willing to overlook that omission. If it ends up being on par with the lobbies of pwc/Telus/BAC, I'll be very satisfied.

The change in this area from even a few years ago is truly amazing. It's like a whole new little city being built south of Union.

There is retail in PwC, it just doesn't front onto the sidewalk. Telus too, for that matter

Looks great! What I don't understand is the "hybrid" part. It looks like regular curtain wall to me (obviously, a huge compliment if it isn't).

The curtainwall is by Sota Glazing Inc. If you check their website, they do have a HYBRID-WALL® system. Look under PRODUCTS, it explains the system better than I ever could :) - http://www.sotawall.com/

Man, that's an intricate model. What scale is the GO train?

;)

PATH retail I think

I thought I had explored all of that building (including the PATH areas) and I don't recall any retail.

I did manage to get into a unit which loosely resembles a retail unit (not in use at the moment) from one of the internal stairwells, but that one is located on the 2nd level and faces an outdoor terrace of sorts.
