Also, it is good to have some small-scale older buildings around to keep the mix of businesses interesting. Condos are always full of chain stores, chain restaurants, banks, etc... Gabbys could become a cool restaurant or cafe one of these days instead of a shopper's drug mart.

Granted on the Gabby's, but if you've been inside you gotta admit they did a killer job in the reno/redecoration a few years back.

I’m glad Gabby’s wasn’t part of this; now maybe it can become a Manhattan-esque skinny skyscraper in the future.
