There are dozens of buildings all over the world that feature "stacked boxes". If this is plagiarism, almost all architecture is plagiarism.
 
indeed, almost everything is derivative or inspired by something that came earlier. I've been to Charlotte twice and I'm going again in exactly one week from today. I have never noticed this building in their downtown. I should look it up, although to be honest it's hardly worth doing so.
 
That's the roof of the subway tunnel one can see there of course!

^^^im pretty sure the St George upper platform is about 25 feet below ground at least. Not sure that is the subway tunnel unless they have dual layer covering.
 
I was told by architect Roy Varacalli that that's the roof of the tunnel.

Yikes that's a heck of a lot closer than expected. Wonder what kind of precautions or building strategies are going to be used to support that section over the subway.
