Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Just be careful, if you have a foolish councillor by the name of: Mammolitti, Karygiannis, or De Baeremaeker, it's probably best not to e-mail them.

Scarborough councillors are pathetic across the board. You might be better off getting used to "Wexford" than trying to get them to change it to something more rational.

They can't even keep their naming conventions consistent. If Yonge & Eglinton is "Eglinton" because it's an existing subway station then why isn't Allen and Eglinton "Eglinton West"? If anything Yonge & Eglinton should be "Yonge". Either you use the existing subway station name or you use the cross street name, but not one of each.

Stealing this comment from udunehommik:

My personal favourite is Eglinton station on the Eglinton line.

"Maybe we should call it Eglinton-Yonge so that it's consistent with Bloor-Yonge and Sheppard-Yonge and actually provides useful information as to where on the 19 km long route it's located? Oh wait nah that's not an option on our all powerful [naming decision tree](https://www.metrolinxengage.com/sites/default/files/decision_tree_-_11x17.pdf), can't do that."

Yet Metrolinx then goes and names the next station to the east Mount Pleasant (which actually does make sense so I'm totally okay with that one), despite the fact that it breaks their "no duplication across the network" rule because of Mount Pleasant station on the Kitchener line. What???

Certainly not very helpful to have a station name called "Eglinton" when the entire route is along Eglinton.
