Even with a ramp, busses would still be stuck in Gardiner traffic, but it could have certainly helped. Also, it didn't seem that large of an infrastructure feet either.
...actually, that's what a lot of GO riders (including myself) where directed to, lol.The solution is to run trains, not buses. This is a self-inflicted wound.
On the side: Since both Pinnacle One and Forma (west side) are slated to be taller than FCP, it would be interesting to see how they change the dynamics in that respective view.CIBC Square 2 should fill in the gap in this skyline view nicely!
It is two-fold. The last 500 m on Lake Shore can sometimes take 20 minutes. If I recall correctly, the issues are with the traffic outside of the downtown core, specifically on the Gardiner, not the approach to the bus terminal, so I doubt ramps would have made a difference here.
Regarding the community update above and the line that reads “Once the latter two activities are complete, structural demolition of the viaduct can commence.” - are they referencing the area in the red box below? All of that is being taken down?

That side view rendering really puts the size of these buildings in perspective. From bridge to bridge, phase 2 is about at wide as it is tall.About half of it. You can see details and a rendering here: https://www.toronto.ca/legdocs/mmis/2022/te/bgrd/backgroundfile-225604.pdf
