Those old silos were built with tons of steel reinforcement. They're not going to crumble to the ground anytime soon. They'll keep until a decision is made on what to do with them.

^ I've always thought that a museum dedicated exclusively to sound would be kind of cool. Could incorporate the physics/physiology of sound, display audio technology from past to present, recreate natural aural habitats, and also incorporate artistic audio installations such as those of Janet Cardiff. There could also be a sonic/music element--maybe bring in Brian Eno or other ambient style musicians for that aspect. It definitely wound NOT be a popular music or hall of fame type of facility. Anywho, just a thought...

^ Not a bad idea. Given the explosion of craft beers, hard liquour offerings and Niagara wineries... might be a destination. Lots of sponsor/stake holders would chip in. Not sure who generates the business plan but I kinda like the idea a lot.

Throw in some cross border history during prohibition and you got a booze museum.
