An entrance door to each condo unit needs to be a solid core door for fire safety rating purposes ... therefore it is not possible to have "bedroom (hollow) doors" installed as entrance doors to each unit, that would never pass building inspections, let alone occupancy permits ... unless you are just making a unfounded statement for the sake of an arguement ;)

It's likely solid-core. My bedroom door comment refers to the flimsyness when shut, and the lack of sealing around the edges. When it is shut, you can rattle it, and see light around the edges. This makes for very, very poor sound-proofing.

Yes, I've spent a lot of time in a unit, and yes, the renter complains about it constantly.

The Verve's common spaces (gym, theatre, pool etc) are done very well, but I don't see any significant difference in quality within the units.

Walked by the Loft building the other day. Some of the windows on the top floor have been installed. Loft building will be a beaute once completed.

I think the 500 is really taking shape....does anyone know if this is a pet friendly building?

2 pets allowed per unit; if this answers your question.

Although we won't told if pets are allowed when we were at the sales office. The lawyer pointed out the "paragraph" in the disclosure "bible".

Pix taken 25th Aug at noon.

A few pictures to show the progress. The Lane way between 500 & the church is almost completed. They just have to pour the tar (I think). They are still working on the windows from 30th floor up. The smoothing of the balcony ceilings will be fully completed by the end of the day (my guess cos there's only a couple more to go), having said that we also notice the one on the 26th floor South East corner is skipped; wonder why. Here we go...

If you look carefully, there's one balcony ceiling (South East corner; unit 2604) that looks "raw" compared to the others.

Hi Solaris,

What does it mean when you say 500 is topped off?

I read the article but couldn't understand the significance of the report.

Would appreciate your clarification.

Thanks in advance.
