actually, the building looks pretty nice now; I especially like the sail-like roof, much better than the Verve top!
 
Although I still think the colors don't match, the building's coming along quite nicely. The ground floor 2 storey lofts should look nice.
 
a notice has been posted across from the 500 (on the East side of Sherbourne) that an application has been made to tear down the existing high rise building and replace it with a 38 floors rental building with more than 400 units. That sounds like lots of noise and dust for many years to come.
Is that the beginning of the re-juvination of St. Jamestown?
 
I don't believe they are tearing any buildings down except for the single story store between them. The new building will be constructed on top.

There is an existing thread for this project.

Nothing, technically. I assume they will be recreating the grocery store on the main level, so above that then. The thread, which I am too lazy to search for, contains city documents which detail where this will be located.

The beige part of the roof is done on the South side. More Drywall were delivered on Friday. They are working on windows again. A few up on 23rd floor & also 2nd / 3rd floor.

Will try to take some pictures of the seperate loft when it's sunny. The glass windows on the 1st 2 floors (East side) are almost done. Workers are working the interior.
