Looks to be webmaster idiocy to me. When you click volunteer it takes you to the scummy adwat.ch domain where the seduction tips ad appears.

It leaves the robfordformayor.ca domain entirely. That's really incompetent.

Not uncommon for a family trust, and estate trust, to say to the trustees not to encroach on the capital for the spouse, unless the kids are OK with that. (The usual model is that the spouse is to be taken care of for the rest of his/her life out of the income earned by the assets in the trust (e.g., rent received on real estate) while the assets themselves (e.g., the ownership of the real estate) are for the kids - and if you are a Rockefeller, the grandkids, great-grandkids, and so on).

Question: Can trusts pay dividends to beneficiaries as opposed to straight interest? That would be advantageous from an income tax point of view, no? I'm thinking about the ability to gross-up dividend income. (And this relates to RoFo's Toronto because, uh.... umm.... It shows he's not a regular guy like the rest of us!)

If the implications of him being involved with Lisi in drug trafficking are true, this actually all makes sense, or at least provides a motive.... he's doing it to get money that his family won't give him. But if his family knows he's so untrustworthy then why would they ever choose him as the flag bearer of their political aspirations?

He ran for city council of his own will -- he was a perpetually irrelevant cit councillor, and never really had any big plans. Mayor is nothing compared to Doug's plan to be premier. I think they thought they'd install Rob as the mayor and then him and Doug could tag team as Doug quickly became premier.
