before you say that, it appears that the vast majority of the transit riders today arrived to my work before any of the car drivers.. the transit riders were a little delayed, but most were in decent spirits. The car drivers, on the other hand, did a lot of bitching about traffic, the ice, and other driving related frustrations. it's not always cut and dry. for me, my commute continues to average 20 minutes. i've driven it once, it takes about 30 minutes to drive due to traffic.

Did you ask them if they arrived by subway or the streetcar?

both.. i take subway and then streetcar every day. most of the transit riders get onto Spadina at some point

The trip from home in the St. Clair West area to my destination at Yonge and Gerrard took an hour and a half today.

Yikes! What would you say your average trip time is for you?

40 mins. I waited for a bus near my home to take me to St. Clair and Spadina to catch a streetcar. It had been an hour after leaving my home before I finally boarded a streetcar.

Folks, I decided to drive my car in this morning, took me ten minutes compared to the usual 40. I think I'm getting what the better way is.
