This is the general that Trump tricked into accompanying him to that photo op at the church where the police and army attacked peaceful protesters outside the White House. He’s getting his own digs in now.

And of course, you can be sure that some of them or their loved ones would be tempted to accuse the Dems or the Deep State or whomever of murder. Y'know, killing off people they disagree with by sending the China Virus off into the MAGA heartland. (Never mind that some six months ago, these very same people would have dismissed it as a "Democrat disease" that only happened in big cities and among the nonwhite underclass)

Newsmax and OANN kept perpetuating the falsehoods that COVID-19 is perpetuated by BLM and Antifa to kill off the MAGA crowd (and BLM is a violent political movement according to the MAGA crowd).

Unfortunately, the MAGA crowd are in denial, accusing all mainstream media (which are "liberal" (even the right-leaning Wall Street Journal) according to the MAGA crowd) of being secretly funded by the CCP.

And of course, they can point to the fact that they actually *are* dying from it as proof. Pivot from a Covid-hoax narrative to a something that's more kinfolk to white-genocide/Great Replacement thinking--and no, no, no, to them it's no far-right conspirazoid figment of their imagination, because again, they actually *are* dying of it, being punished for living their lives "normally", etc. The proof's in the pudding! Do your Youtube research! etc etc

Anyone with a brain: Public transit investment makes society stronger in the long run and basic groceries could be delivered to certain subway stations as well. An example is Toronto's High Park station.

I never understood this to be quite honest. I do not see the appeal of picking up groceries on my way home from work.

LOL, so long as Murdoch controls Fox News, don't expect any honesty, whether they nominally swing right, left or Martian.

If they are directing a change in view-point, the most optimistic idea is either that its ratings-driven; or craven-pandering to power.

There are more cynical interpretations available.
