Sklar

great photo Sklar ... you should sell this to Concord Adex =D

Current schedule of PDIs has the 12 floor ready for inspection on Sep 4th. According to Concord Adex, these early PDIs are not impacting the occupancy dates as they believe they need the time to fix deficiencies.

Are the PDI's scheduled automatically? Did you call them to schedule, or did they call you?

One can only hope that any further City Place buildings will be free of that grey paneling.

So we have nearly 15 buildings completed and STILL no Cityplace park. Doesn't even look like it's under construction.

How dissapointing. That park should have been the first thing complete on the lands west of Spadina.
8 years after Cityplace went on sale and still no "community" park. Shame on Concord and shame on the city for allowing them to stall it for this long.

Considering the park is on the western-most part of the CityPlace lands, it's quite expected. How are people supposed to get to the park if it was the first thing built. You think the City would allow people to walk through construction sites? There's no bridge over the RR tracks (yet), no connection open to Bathurst, no connection from Lake Shore. The park is well under construction. You notice that hill of dirt that is higher than the Gardiner? That's part of it. They are continuing to do grading and finalizing the actual plans. As of May, the intention was to open the park in a year. I still think a year from now at the earliest though.
