One would think, however, that the developer would not have sacrificed tens of millions to acquire this prime site for the sake of several million dollars in deposits.
Not to mention that the developer doesn't keep the deposits. They're held by a 3rd party.

Here's Michael's contact info. Instead of wasting real estate fabricating more "sky is falling" scenarios... call him and ask him there's any problems with the project. He'll take your call.

This "maverick" does seem unusually comfortable for such a newbie.

Only 3 posts and comments seem ...so familiar. Now who could we be thinking of..... LOL

Patience people. The fencing is now starting to go up, and demolition is going to start very soon.

maverick is caveatemptor/vultur/investor/etc.? Only managed to get to eleven posts?

If anyone sees advertising like this on the fencing/hoarding.... please do NOT tell me.

That one's in the Hoarding Museum and Fencing Hall of Fame.

I am new to this form, but know a little bit about how the development works in a big city. This project went on sale in November of last year, correct? Then you would need to finish your working drawings so you can price the project, no one spends the money on that till they know that there is enough pre sales, that takes at least 4-6 month. In the mean time you have to terminate all the leases and start to disconect all the cervices. Do you have any idea how slow hydro or consumer gas works, plus this being one of the most congested intersection in the city with all kind of services going through the site to feed 33 Bloor st E and other building and TTC. All that has to be disconected and re ruted around so demolition can start.
From what I understand they got their demolition permit last week and will be statarting demolition very soon. Its a gread chalange to build at this corner so there will be a lot of planning and co ordinating up front before construction starts.

What an eyesore. This mess can't come down quick enough now.

I'm sure it been mentioned somewhere in the last 1700 posts, but how deep down will they be excavating? Will it be a pit as deep as Uptown/Crystal Blu?
