    Rob Ford's Toronto

Can you cut a quote out of the discussion? She's easily one of the crazier FN types - I wonder how many of her posts are deleted by the IHTWOMRF admins. I remember her posting the Premier's address on that page...

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Just noticed - if you look at their Twitter account, it's just Flagg now.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Do you really think he believed that the salaries of 22 councillors and their staff would cover the costs of 100 police? When public documents show that lots of police officers make the same overall salaries as one councillor, and those same public documents show that most councillors' staff...

    Rob Ford's Toronto

I think there is, or officially was, more than one admin for their page, so the use of "we" would have been appropriate. On occasion, the page seemed less insane and childishly angry - I think Flagg left the updates to others at that time. Now that Doug appears to be concentrating on Deco and...

Toronto and the 2015 Federal Election

In Etobicoke Centre, Borys W seems to be winning the sign battle, at least on lawns vs. back fences.

Outrage? Ford creates outrage so he can feed on it... This is the usual thing with public opinion - in general, the public CAN'T understand billions, but CAN understand "wasting" tens or hundreds of dollars. This creates the outrage that Ford needs to live and thrive.

You know what's more fun? Read the article, then read some of the comments to Flagg's post. The article is almost dead-on, when taken in the context of the comments from the IHTWOMRF denizens.

Ford would have won in 2010 with ranked ballots, given that he was already at 45+%. His issue now is that he will be hard-pressed to get to that level again - he'll need to get up there, as his "second-choice" factor won't be much for a long time.

Posted on IHTWOMRF today, by one of the especially nutty members... Is this legal? Josie Erent Today at 10:41 Kathleen Wynne's home address and telephone number...Let the protests begin... K Wynne 416-xxx-xxxx address Toronto, ON, postal code And, now it's gone. Taken down by the admins?

Sometimes, the IHTWOMRF people are a special level of stupid and unlucky: "I Hate The War on Mayor Rob Ford 8 hrs · LOL Rob's worst-ever hire (and best-ever fire), the Quisling Mark Towhey, has found a new gig. Campaign manager for PC Party leadership candidate Patrick Brown. Here he is...

    Rob Ford's Toronto

I have laughed at many posts from this account, but I really didn't like this one. Rob and Doug are completely fair game, but Kathy (now that she's being hidden from sight) should be left alone until she's back in the public eye. I'm soft in my old age, I guess.

Is the Don Bosco coaching jacket a core item to him? They fired / rejected him, so wouldn't he want to monetize that instead? By selling it, it's an excellent "F-U" to the administration and parents who wanted him out - he gets one last benefit out of his connection to the program, and they...

    Rob Ford's Toronto

I can't say that I feel "outrage", and I don't agree with folks who feel such a strong emotion about it as "outrage" - he's not worth that kind of emotional investment. If anything, I now almost feel something like pity for him: - he's going through a difficult treatment - he's got small kids...

"Man, those Ford Nation morons are loyal. Pretty big advantage for the Fords that whatever happens they'll always have that 35%. New Forum poll: Tory is preferred for mayor by 54 per cent versus 34 per cent for Ford" So true - every strategist needs to assume that they're playing for...

    Rob Ford's Toronto

On election day at the Ford gathering, there was a lady (on 1010 at least) who was weeping about losing her house and claiming that so many citizens don't understand municipal issues. Was she a newcomer to Ford Follies, or a Ford regular from IHTWOMRF?

    Rob Ford's Toronto

I think you have something there. Ford's highest numbers are in Scarborough and Etobicoke - Scarborough, especially, has low turnouts, while old Toronto (where Ford is lowest) has the highest. I can't see how Ford could ever pull it off. He needs big wins in the northeast and northwest...

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Doug's only chance is to win via ground game - but his is the least professionally run campaign. So he can rely only on force / attraction of his personality, and on hope. So, he's creating hope as best he can. (Of course he's lying, but when does he ever tell the truth anyway?)

    Rob Ford's Toronto

He would have been arrested in his teens for his drug dealing, and would have actually faced consequences. As a younger adult, he would have had more trouble getting away from the criminal lifestyle, but may have succeeded. He would still have the instinct to hustle for business, the way...

    Rob Ford's Toronto

I'm in Etobicoke, so there are a lot of Ford signs, on people's lawns as opposed to public property. Fortunately, none on my street. I don't need to move.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Doug can only really damage his campaign if he does something to alienate Ford Nation in its current form. His real problem is that he's boxed in - if he tries to grow beyond current Ford Nation, that growth will come at the expense of equal or worse portions of current Ford Nation. Right now...
