Where is "downtown Toronto"?

I think it's more like paying for downtown 'elitist' projects that don't service Scarborough. A statement like that tells me you didn't grown up downtown proper.... Maybe 'etobicoke'?

Scarborough was annexed to Toronto because it couldn't sustain itself. Toronto would be a much better city without the likes of Scarborough draining its resources for its inefficient suburban infrastructural needs.

Downtown 'elitist' projects cost comparatively nothing due to the increased density downtown.

People should be allowed to live in suburbs if so they wish, but they should be self-sustaining and not rely on higher density areas to bail them out.
