The confidential material went public, on Christmas Eve.

While I am inclined to believe the recommendation was to accept the settlement offer, the solicitor's report itself remains confidential.

(the report/rec was adopted, and but the local Councillor voted against)

The gist of the offer, is below:

The new rendering is updated in the database. There are several major changes to the project's information. The overall building story count changed from 35 and 21 storeys to 28 and 14 storeys. The total overall building heights changed from 132.81m & 85.20m to 106.50m & 59.70m. Additionally, the total unit counts increased from 548 units to 725 units. Finally, the total parking count decreased from 646 parking spaces to 496 parking spaces.

I guess I missed the Christmas Day posting about them cutting the 248 x Hotel units... not really a surprising business decision considering the current glut of Hotel rooms in Canada...

One new rendering is added to the database! The project database information is also updated. The overall unit count changed from 539 & 186 units to 526 & 190 units. Finally, the total parking spaces decreased from 496 to 492 parking spaces.

This must be the flying car the tech bros keep promising us.
Levitating 2007 Mazdaspeed6 this time...
That Audi had real momentum. This one looks like a kid could push it off course with their baby finger. You'd have to tether it to something to park it. Imagine coming back to where you left it and having to whip out your phone, "app says my car is where?!?!?!"

I believe the 'Audi' was a Tesla Roadster. Yet another project that jackass has quietly bailed on after he lost interest...

Happy to see development at this intersection, but yikes, this is an eyesore. What an ugly mishmash of design and style.

Why is this development seemingly stuck in development hell? This thread started in 2010 and the site is exactly the same, with no timeline for construction in 2022. It's at Yonge and York Mills. Right right on the corner, how hard is it to obtain approval?
