August 12 file titled only correspondence through the Toronto application information centre. The site has been much busier as of the last 2 weeks. with fences and machinery taking over much of the parking lot. If anyone knows anything else and would like to share that would be much appreciated.

Build Toronto is planning to move forward on its first project involving surplus city land. 4050 Yonge Street (Yonge & York Mills) will be redeveloped and preliminary plans call for a 500,000 square foot LEED Gold office building. As reported in various media outlets today the TTC will consider leasing a portion of the new office space to consolidate employees located in various offices across the city (including Davisville - which would then be turned over to Build Toronto for redevelopment).

Build Toronto has made a submission for a zb/l & OPA with a target delivery date of 2014.
Always interesting to look back on what the City of Toronto used to do with it's "Surplus Parking Lots at a Subway Station" sites before CreateTO was formed in 2018 --- and their "Housing Now" model was passed by Council in early 2019...

So the above is City Planning writing to the developer's lawyers and CC'ing relevant City staff that NOAC/SPA is not in place here, that there are outstanding conditions to be fulfilled.

Permit-granting folks and legal getting the CC.

Permit for the underground parking (Shoring) seems to be issued, new building and foundation are not yet in place.:

Why have they closed the subway entrance in preparation of its demolition in addition to placing construction trailer (office) by TMG builders?
Maybe they're trying to manifest more sales by closing off the subway entrance, putting up construction hoarding and placing their trailers and excavation equipment on site. 😂
