Work is under way to relocate the third rail to the opposite side on the Yonge-bound track. Some of the brackets and coverboard have been installed and sections of the third rail are lying between the running rails.

It obviously needs a good powerwashing, but I really like it. It looks clean and confident.'

Tho from a wayfinding perspective the LRT pictogram might be confusing for an out-of-towner. I know what that's a picture of, but I could see someone unfamiliar with the system not making the connection that that's the door you go through to get to the QQW streetcar.

It appears on the very left of the sign it says FIRE. Does this activate if there's a fire or alarm?

Unlikely. They will probably be kept for fire separation purposes. Maybe they will be changed to be the type of door that is kept propped open most of the time and automatically closed if the fire alarm goes off.

Yes. High marks on level of detail, poor marks on aesthetics. There is definitely a need for space before and after the station name.

There are (as shown in the photos above) several triple sets of doors and two single ones (at either end). It appears that the spacing used was standardised for both kinds of door - looks OK on the single doors but a bit crowded on the triples. Hardly a design disaster but ...
