Why is the UPstairs lounge no longer used?

I assume because the company that ran it did not renew the lease. As the UPX now departs every 15 minutes it hardly seems necessary to have a 'waiting area' in addition to the coffee shop area on main level.

I thought so.

If I recall, it was supposed to be somewhere you could wait for people to arrive from Pearson or those looking for a bite before going to the airport.

Despite there always being lines at Kelly's Landing, WVRST and other places in the area, you could always get a seat in the upstairs lounge despite the limited seating. I supposed that benefit is also why it closed.

No.

The Headhouse doesn't have any restaurants on the southside with a view.

Regardless, this one took way too long; don't know if Osmington gave them a break on the rent........but they should have been up and running months ago.

I went there for a drink once when it first opened. The problem I think was that it was up this narrow little staircase accessed only from the skywalk. It simply didn't have enough visibility for people to even know it was there.

It is a sad reflection on this project that getting a ceiling painted is worth posting about (with photos!) I assume that one day the City will replace the Jersey barriers and THAT will inspire videos, possibly even with specially composed music :->
