Depressing. In many ways we're no better than our 60's and 70's counterparts.. Only instead of replacing them for parking lots, we're replacing them for cookie cutter condos in the "Entertainment District".

I hate losing heritage buildings but I'm having a difficult time finding any sense of loss with respect to that old warehouse. Aside from the arched front door, it was pretty nondescript.

Looks like this one might actually be starting soon. The Mercer sales office has moved off the site and is now located at 24 Mercer. The demolition contractor has equipment on site to take the former sales office down.
