Do we really want more dull, glass walls? Too many condos are going for that wall of glass, that adds nothing to the pedestrian experience. Where is the diversity of retail storefront design in this city? It's becoming one big bore. Once this city latches onto a trand, like grey spandrel, it just seems like all the other developers have to follow suit. If this is "the creative city" I'd hate to see what the noncreative cities look like. lol

The ground level is really big and should have a great impact on the street. This part of downtown is really beginning to feel big city with these generously proportioned retail/restaurant spaces. Photo taken 25 October 2013.
