Thanks for the update. A couple comments. 1. That's one big ass spider's web in the first pic! Like Amazon big! Holy smokes.
2. Nice to see them planting trees but looking at the last picture, when will the city realize there's something wrong? I mean seriously, it seems like half of all the new trees planted die. Clearly there's a problem but they keep doing the same thing over and over.

Actually the City are trying very hard to give new tree locations much more earth and are installing continuous tree trenches wherever they can. Older trees are in pits(aka "tree coffins') and in most cases downtown it is very hard to expand these due to underground pipes and wires. New trees need to be watered for a couple of summers (which the City are now doing, not always very well, and older trees need to be pruned regularly.

The new commercial, I've seen it on TV twice already.

Marc Mitanis' story on our recent hardhat tour through the Delta is now up on the front page.

An absolutely brilliantly thought out building!!

The lobby, the SOCO Restaurant with its sun-drenched patio facing south and west towards Roundhouse Park, the convention rooms, the 4th floor garden with great views, the pool with huge windows facing north towards downtown, the guestrooms, and the top floor club room all make this hotel very impressive. Going to be a game changer for the Delta Hotel brand. I'm looking forward to walking around this space upon completion. :)

The tacked-on "art feature" in the courtyard/motor court area resembles a billboard and interferes with the lines of the office building. Not a fan.

Everything else about the Delta looks promising to me. Really happy with how it's turned out!

It's quite the hotel. Love the glass and that outdoor terrace is going to be a hugely popular spot.

Great tour and photos from Delta. The views from the upper floors are incredible! Considering a building of this height is all hotel, it's curious to know how much taller a building like this could go if they stack a residential portion on top.
This takes the cake for hotel with the best views. Even the 5 star hotels' most prestigious units are still in the lower half of their respective buildings. Birth of the tall hotel in Toronto!

Rebirth. The Sheraton Centre, the Hilton, the Harbour Castle, the old Four Seasons, even the Royal York way back when - there have long been tall hotels here. This is just the tallest of them so far, and yes, a welcome return to that form.

One King West is still the tallest hotel in the city. Condominium ownership comes in every conceivable useage. Office, Retail, Industrial, Residential, Landscaping
