Why ever are they entombing this thing with non-visual cladding? I know Forsey and Harland are generally talentless hacks but this is an otherwise somewhat 'redeeming' project...odd.

Yes, its tilted. It rises as it goes from the Delta to the skywalk.

Now that so many more people will be living and working down here, it is time to redesign the park spaces to reflect their likely intensity of use. A park bench here and there isn't going to make this feel like a living community where people can hang out in public spaces.

Indeed - and further that, time for some high quality landscape architecture along the lines of the recent Grange Park and Berczy opark revitalization - this is smack in the middle of tourist central.
