I was there today around 5pm and the place was hopping. Several busses of tourists were there, people were going home from work, and BJ fans were arriving early for the game. I think I was the only one there not part of any of the 3 groups.

Nice pics. But lol at the first one. How many cavernous parking ramps do we have destroying tourist/pedestrian stretches? Just lol at us. When I'm walking by I can imagine a battletank crashing out of these things just grinding humans under its tracks.

That cheezy signage on Front Street screams of Clifton Hill. All we need now is a fun house, cigar shop, and/or that casino down the road might just do the trick.

Are you forgetting there's going to be a Ripley's just around the corner?

It's an aquarium, not a cheesy Believe-it-or-Not deal. It may not be world class, but I am expecting it to be pretty damn nice. Sure, the Ripley's brand has quite the presence on Clifton Hill, but Niagara Falls is a different market with different expectations and a different breed of tourist. The renderings and the stats point towards a mildly cheesy aquarium with loads of educational value. I understand the association with Ripley's and Clifton Hill, but in this situation it seems like a bit of a stretch.
