None of our BRT's are much better than a regular bus line. I dont count that as "rapid transit"And what about the many BRT's that have been talked about?

This is what disturbs me - Eglinton and Finch LRT's will be opening soon, and the OL is well under construction, so...what's next? Why isn't there any talk about next phases yet? We can't afford to pat ourselves on the back and chill - transit expansion needs to be continuous, without the massive gaps we've had in the past. At minimum, the next round of major LRT's should be going ahead immediately, as well as things that have been quietly whispered about such as OL extensions both north and west, and Sheppard extensions. This is very annoying.
an extension of the OL to both the north and west should not requiring much if any tunneling which will make it an excellent candidate for the next round of funding. It should be quite cheap to do an extension from Eglinton to Sheppard or even Steeles and Woodbine.
Agreed. These should be very straightforward extensions
- OL north to Don Mills and Steeles
- OL west to Kipling Station through Humber Bay shores and Mimico
- Crosstown to Pearson
- Finch LRT south to Pearson and east to Finch station
- Sheppard east to the new McCowan station and west to Sheppard West station
Where did you get this source? Having the Ontario line go to Richmond Hill would be amazingFor reference, this is the planned next phase transit projects:

Ontario Line is listed as going north to Richmond Hill transit hub then west probably along Highway 7 then going south to Pearson and to kipling station. Just lines on a map for now but it's not like the next phase is forgotten.

Does anyone know if Ontario Line stations will have washrooms?

Good question, and probably 2: Exhibition and Don Mills (formerly Science Centre) stations.
TTC included a washroom at terminus stations, and as lines extended the new terminus would add a washroom while retaining any that previously existed. I'm not sure whether this is law or just policy, but Line 5 includes a new washroom at Mount Dennis (Kennedy already having one) and Line 6 includes one at Humber College so Metrolinx seems to be following that guide.
Is that taken from the Millwood bridge? In the Don Valley at the future portal.
