On my way to the Jays home opener on Friday, I decided to snap a few pics on my walk down from my hotel.

Nice shot Geekaroo. Last time I was in St A's there was nothing but a deep excavation pit and my colleagues were all emphatic that S-La would never be built. Ha!

I am not sure that SL should have been placed at an angle. It will be most visible from the North coming down and lines up well with the rest of the buildings and would be the only angled structure on the street (or one of the only ones). At street level, Cheng has angled the SE corner to match the street so I believe it achieves the desired effect.

Besides, there are all sorts of other angles in this structure to add interest.

Either way, I think it continues to impress on the positive as more of it gets built. They are roughly 1/2 way up so it will be impressive when completed and further, as it is standing relatively on its own, will be a standout building.
