I really wish that developers, or someone, could uproot and transplant mature old trees rather than cut them down. However I'm sure that it would just be considered to be too pricey.

Well, at least fully grown. I personally love trees, there's just something about them. Seeing trees cut down needlessly, or sick and neglected makes me upset.

I was told by someone with the landscape firm that maintains the Sony grounds that they had an agreement to rootball and remove the five mulberries to their nursery outside the city, but when they came to work one day they found that the trees had been cut down.
