^ Brampton Council wants to move it but the final decision is with the Province/Metrolinx.
There is a Brampton Transit Advisory Committee meeting tonight. It will be livestreamed.

new user here. Is there any possibility the LRT continues to Brampton GO station as originally planned. I know it has been debated by city council but is it on the table in the future? Ending at Hurontario/Steeles is so abrupt.
"If Brampton Gateway is the last stop, why is construction going past Steeles?"
The LRT track work will end at Steeles, however, the small portion of work north of Steeles is to facilitate the lane shifting and transition. Currently there are three active lanes northbound and southbound on Hurontario. The number of lanes will be reduced to two northbound and southbound when the LRT guideway is constructed.
