More falling glass off of Four Seasons today. You might be able to see the missing panel on the east face northern edge about five levels down from the penthouse.
The glass didn't actually fall this time; the panel failed but stayed in place. So, good news below, but those involved with the building must be wondering what might fail next.

I think balconies in general, at least for me, are over rated and for a hotel use present an unnecessary liability. As mentioned none or most of the luxury hotels in toronto have no balconies.

That being said... I do occasionally enjoy being exposed to the outdoors and the city so something like a Juliette balcony would be a wonderful compromise.
