The fritted glass looks good when the sun hits it right:

NO greenleaf, it looks MORE than good ^^^
really fantastic stuff... does Four Seasons have a say in terms of what their buildings look like? cause the four seasons centre's glass box concept is sorta similar to the podium of this tower, or it could just be me,

The vantage angle from which Four Seasons most absolutely and singularly dominates the skyline might be from the Pape-Chester / Danforth area. If you look west down the Danforth from Pape in late afternoon / early evening, as I did the other week, this tower looms like a monolith over everything else (esp. since from there the downtown core skyscrapers are out of view). Simply fantastic. As you move further west along the Danforth other buildings on the west side of the DVP begin to crop up and crowd out FS, of course.

Absolutely. It is amazing how it is has given the visual end of Danforth such a demarcation. It is truly exciting.

this is one of those times when one tower REALLY does make a difference.... and the same will be said with Aura and eventually shangri-la (from the north),
and it really showcases how far away FS is from the cbd! the rest of our skyline is finally being discovered..

Driving down Yonge today - it's a beast alright.

not even funny how massive four seasons is (height wise) in relation to that yonge/bloor cluster. and to make matters worse (or in this case, better) it's situated further north of the cluster making seem even more dominant.
and just imagine 1bloors impact!
definitely creating a new "THIS is downtown" line/landmarks

nice pic cruzin4u!

Jasonzed also has some updates coming....he posted a bunch last night over at SSC, should be seeing them here soon.....meanwhile, here is one of his....

can't get over how short the 2nd tower is.... they shoulda made it taller to balance things out/make the shorter tower look better.
