Theres quite a bit of joking in this thread. I don’t think Takashimaya or Mr. Greenjeans will take the space either.
Woolworth’s/WoolCo still actually exists though (they renamed themselves Foot Locker a few decades back). In that case how about Eaton's itself?
A shell company owned by Cadillac Fairview (itself owned by the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan) owns the Eaton's name.Woolworth’s/WoolCo still actually exists though (they renamed themselves Foot Locker a few decades back).
Resurrecting the Eaton’s name might be harder. They went bankrupt and were bought by Sears, who themselves went bankrupt and were completely liquidated. So who knows who owns the name now.
Weird perhaps, but I actually loved that campaign.Aubergiiiiiine!
Unless it's a swimming pool, it looks a lot like an elevator
Original flooring from 1979. With some modifications. There used to be a fountain there too. What a great looking floor in the 2nd pic. It's too pretty to be what they're installing so is it the floor from the late 70s/early 80s?
