I'm totally new to this board but when I saw the image of Toronto with this "Manulife building" I had to join. Where can I get so more info on this project? I haven't heard anything about it.
P.S. This is a great board. Been lurking around for about a year reading some very informative stuff.
However, I (among others) feel that the rendering show a building too wide for the rather narrow lot we think most likely to be its future location. I personally would expect a narrower building, somewhere between the Shangri-La and 1 King West in its floor plan.
Got a few pics but my dig. cam doesn't like to zoom in at night so they're from a distance. They were testing sections in the lower Radome section, then it was all lit up and changing colours then they tested a section above which appears to be one of the observation deck levels.

Thanks for the pics! The last few turned out quite well for a night time zoom in.
I like how the communications bubble is looking. With a decent coordination with the elevator/stair shafts and the upper tower, this will look quite good and tasteful.
