Anyone else see the guy, I think, in the top floor of Festival Tower, western-most condo? He's in the white shirt with his left arm stretched out front, like he's reaching for something.

Weird.

No guy there, just some furnishings - like a shelf and something white in the distance - with a compressed perspective courtesy of a telephoto lens.

Not weird enough.

With glass having been installed on the podium, it's starting to come together. Images from this afternoon:

Eh it looks better but pretty awful still. I don't think the parking garage in itself ruins the podium but it certainly could have been clad much better. At the very least they could have used a more expensive looking material (not even expensive, just had to look like something that wasn't painted plywood).

Tower itself is kind of meh but I think that the image of three 45-50 story towers on one block is the real interesting thing about Cinema, TIFF Lightbox and Pinnacle. Individually dull but impressively dense.

^ just wait until the entire entertainment district starts to go vertical. I love the podium so far! Adds some much needed colour to the city, and has to be one of the better clad parking garages I've seen.
