There are two projects going on here. One is 400 King West, the Plaza condominium building - which has been referenced. The other is a utility project on the north side of King Street West from the Peter Street corner, in front of 388 King Street West, to just east of the Charlotte Street corner. This latter project, which is the one which closed the sidewalk, is a utility related project, not of the 400 King Street West development. It could be one of Toronto Hydro, City Water and Sewage, Enbridge, or Enwave (I think it might be Enwave, but not sure), but the pedestrian management issues along here are not the fault of the Plaza 400 King Street West project.View attachment 478588
This project has the worst sidewalk pedestrian management setup. Someone is going to get hurt. Due to the bad setup, pedestrians are walking on the road with cars, bikes, streetcars.

Not to say that the pedestrian management issues are not real - it is a potential disaster along here...
