Toronto 2 St Thomas | 80.46m | 26s | KingSett Capital | Hariri Pontarini

Good materials don't make a building though- this design has odd proportions (and not in a novel way) and doesn't fit in with the McKinsey Building, which gave it a great sense of identity in the previous design. I'm really disappointed. Was there any need to change the design at all, or did the marketing firm suggest that it needed to be freshened up? Ugh.

Did anyone else notice the discrepancies in these 2 renders too?

I think the design is a lot cleaner in the penthouse close-up rendering.

The white-ish material on the sales centre is porcelain, not limestone. I'm not sure if the final product plans to use porcelain.

Also, the mechanicals for The St. Thomas will be underneath the "University Apartments" four-story building on the corner.

Bland - I expected more. Can we have the Victorians re-constructed?

At least the second shot has the hottest render woman ever.

Sadly, the artist may have thought 'how progressive are these residents to have hired a visible minority...". What else could explain something so clumsy?
