We took a helicopter tour over downtown at the weekend. Amazing views. Ice looks good from all angles.
I also learned that hard way that trying to use manual settings on a DSLR in a moving helicopter isn't easy.

Awesome x 100000000 Thanks for sharing!!! If you don't mind me asking, how much did the tour cost? I would love to get some photos from above!

Yeah very cool, I would also be interested in something like that! wmedia can you share the cost of something like that or PM me if you have a chance?
thx!

No problem, it was with Toronto Heli Tours, and we did the Tour #1 package. It is usually $99+TAX per person, but my wife had a groupon that got three of us up for $60+TAX each (I think). Not sure if that offer is still around though.

Well worth every penny!

Thanks so much Wmedia for that. Watching that video was a real treat. From that perspective its mind-blowing to see how much the city has evolved over the past couple decades.

anyone else find it a bit strange that there's going to be only 10 stories difference between the two, but 30 metres height difference (which suggests 3 metres per floor). Do these buildings have super tall ceilings or something?

3 metre ceilings are really not that unusual.
