Rob Ford's Toronto

If I'm reading the statement correctly, the questions are around the size of the tumors (pluaral?) and whether they are in/on the bladder or just near it. Seems that they've diagnosed the cancer part.
but they haven't told us that... or did i miss it? i thought the last thing we heard was '99% sure' it's cancer. no one came back and said 'yes it is cancer'... did they?

eta: from an article that (i think) someone on here shared earlier today...
A Ford aide says the former mayor does not know for sure the new growth pushing against his bladder is cancerous.
http://www.thestar.com/news/city_hall/2015/11/05/rob-ford-starting-chemotherapy-for-new-tumour.html

does anyone know of anyone that had chemo for a possibly benign tumour? or is rob the first?

as for the amount and size part, from the same article...
Doug Ford told CP24 Thursday evening that his brother has two tumours attached to his bladder – roughly 5 cm and 7cm long that “almost look like a snowman, on top of each other by his bladder,” – and that he will be undergoing five days of chemotherapy. He will then take several weeks off before returning for another round of chemotherapy, at which point doctors will assess if the tumours are operable, Doug Ford said.

yet...
According to the statement, they "still do not have definitive test results indicating if there is any organ involvement, or the size of the tumours."

i wonder what he had in his office that he was worried about someone else finding...
when a judge finds against the mayor in a 2012 conflict-of-interest case and orders him expelled from the mayoralty (a decision overturned on appeal), Ford’s sole question – “Will they give me enough time to clean out my office?” – comes across not as arrogant or naive so much as achingly sad.

and how's this for juicy...
there are disturbing indications that even knowing everything we do, there is still more that remains in the shadows. Towhey mentions a phone call he received in the wee hours of the morning “sometime in February 2012.” It was the mayor, apologizing for having done “something bad” and saying that “it’s over. It’s all over.” Having made this cryptic admission, Towhey writes, Ford hung up. “I never found out exactly what he was talking about.”

I don't think the “Will they give me enough time to clean out my office?” comment is anything of importance. To me, it sounds like he was just making a joke, as in, they'll be kicking him out of office so fast that he won't even have time to empty the place.

But the other comment, him saying he did something bad and that it's all over. THAT is rather interesting. I'm wondering why Goldsbie and others didn't tweet about that.

Evva, just for kicks you should research if any crazy crimes happened in Feb 2012 in Etobicoke/Rexdale! Too bad I forget that Twitter account that publishes all the EMS calls. It's probably something like things went too far with Renata or maybe someone else was trying to extort him with something.

Huh, MacIntyre was jailed Jan 2012 and beaten up in jail March 2012. Towhey's not 100% that it was February. I bet this is what he was referring too.

There's a twitter account that publishes all the EMS calls? Anyone know what it is?

Not sure what the EMS twitter account is but the one for the fire department is https://twitter.com/tofire
Oh right I think it's one of those unofficial TOronto Fire accounts. Something like Toronto Fire West maybe. Whenever 911 was called from Ford's house they'd post something like: Edenbridge/Knoll. Trouble breathing. Edenbridge/Knoll. Bleeding. If not Knoll than Taylorwood, I can't remember. I just remember like two hours before Ford was to meet Prince Charles there was a 911 call Tweeted to Ford's intersection for trouble breathing. And then two days later same intersection for someone bleeding. I think my reporter friend confirmed those were to Ford's house but he never found out the exact reasons.
