They sure didn't, even with all the ballyhoo Dougie is just another politician with designs on Toronto taxpayers' money for their own use. The Fords, hoping for the people of Toronto to cling to them like an abused child have been proven wrong so as is normal to the Fords they are calling on the enablers in hopes to validate their despicable actions.

Things must be pretty desperate financially for the Fords right now.

With the thousands of supporters of Ford Nation that work hard for a paycheck that allows their family to afford new shoes for their 3-4 children? The $1000 tickets are no debt targeted at lobbyists, special interests, corp. reps, and elites that (shhh... it's a secret) are the foundation of the Ford's political careers.

Remember: the Ford way is to *not* betray failure. Instead, clam up and adjust the camera angle, and emphasize the big shots in attendance--like, at that last do, Mike Harris and Patrick Brown might as well have been the *only* non-Ford attendees.
