Rob Ford's Toronto

Well that was embarrassing, Robbie confusing "transit", of which only he made an issue, with "subways", saying only surface transit rips up your roads, and confusing SmartTrack akin to how he did with the SRT.

Bubble-heads for sale and Deco's involved... and Doug for (insert title here).

And finally Robbie is masturbating to his "accomplishments" and will run for mayor if he's not dead.

Rob Ford now giving out his home phone number, work number, encouraging people to contact him to buy a bobble head.

Sales must be really bad if he's resorting to using CP2Ford as an infommercial to sell bubbleheads. He must be devastated that his 15 minutes are up.

This reminds me of the late Lowell George, bandleader of Little Feat, who had a huge coke habit. When they finally cut off his money supply, he once grabbed all the band T-shirts for sale at a gig, and went around personally selling them to fans, including an autograph if they wanted it, and pocketed the cash so he could buy an 8-ball...

The thought of FN ( whoever is wearing their crown ) getting back into the mayor's office reminds me of the old saying ( Karl Marx, I believe ) "The first time is a tragedy. The second time a farce."

https://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1852/18th-brumaire/ch01.htm

Hegel remarks somewhere[*] that all great world-historic facts and personages appear, so to speak, twice. He forgot to add: the first time as tragedy, the second time as farce. Caussidière for Danton, Louis Blanc for Robespierre, the Montagne of 1848 to 1851[66] for the Montagne of 1793 to 1795, the nephew for the uncle. And the same caricature occurs in the circumstances of the second edition of the Eighteenth Brumaire.

Men make their own history, but they do not make it as they please; they do not make it under self-selected circumstances, but under circumstances existing already, given and transmitted from the past. The tradition of all dead generations weighs like a nightmare on the brains of the living. And just as they seem to be occupied with revolutionizing themselves and things, creating something that did not exist before, precisely in such epochs of revolutionary crisis they anxiously conjure up the spirits of the past to their service, borrowing from them names, battle slogans, and costumes in order to present this new scene in world history in time-honored disguise and borrowed language. Thus Luther put on the mask of the Apostle Paul, the Revolution of 1789-1814 draped itself alternately in the guise of the Roman Republic and the Roman Empire, and the Revolution of 1848 knew nothing better to do than to parody, now 1789, now the revolutionary tradition of 1793-95. In like manner, the beginner who has learned a new language always translates it back into his mother tongue, but he assimilates the spirit of the new language and expresses himself freely in it only when he moves in it without recalling the old and when he forgets his native tongue.

Or they must have put in a huge order thinking they'd sell (upsized ego and all). Can't wait to see them in the liquidation stores.

Guess what Rob's friends and family are getting as Christmas presents?

Don't really care about his family and friends, for the rest of us, his silence and absence.

I wonder if CPFord know Robbie was hawkng a commercial product on their time, and an employee was helping him? Pathetic.

Do we actually have proof that Robbie is actually still doing chemo? 5 days of chemo and then a "week" of rest? Really Robbie? 18 days is the standard for clean outs.

Rob and the media in general seem to forget that he is being sued for COI and could be barred from office if he is somehow alive in 2018.

I think the dates are right. He had chemo 1 week before the swearing in, so that's about 20 days between treatments. The next scan will probably be around 2 weeks after to confirm if the tumour is responding to the chemo and shrinking.

I took it to mean it takes him a week to recover from the effects of chemo (but I'm not perfect).

Did you check out RoFo's hands? Ghostly...

John Tory on Rob Ford's planned 2018 mayoral bid: "Politics will unfold the way it will unfold, but that's a long way away." #TOpoli

The guy just started his term and already has a "challenger."

I hate to say it but the only way we will be permanently rid of RoFo is death. I think that if he runs again and he stays clean, he will win. I had been talking to a friend in November and he said to me "do you realize that without the crack, he would get voted in again" and I believe he was right.
