It's a personal victory only for Ford, the rest lose. It makes little difference to me, actually, because Council will work hard to assert rule over Rob Ford and the political process will continue to unfold. We get two more years of an incompetent mayor constantly being slapped down within council. Situation as-is for two more years. That is, unless one of the awaiting charges sticks, as we all know there are more court dates awaiting his worship.

The mayor and his supporters will be emboldened, saying they faced adversity and won. Lost in all of this is that the whole thing started because Ford is a reckless idiot. This whole sideshow is his own doing.
